Juicing Into the New Year: Really Green Juice

C – One day I appeared at my boyfriend’s house with a juicer.

He really didn’t know what to think of it. I guess I didn’t tell him that I was going to be on a juice cleanse for a few days. Of course, I also forgot to mention I needed to have freshly made juice all day, every day, for every meal for the next seven days.

It wasn’t too bad since, I did serve him some juice with every meal that he had. The juice tasted great and there was a large supply of it. I usually make triple the amount and drink it all day long.

The green drink made him feel like he was getting all of his fruits and vegetables, without actually eating fruits and vegetables. It can be a issue getting enough of the good and healthy stuff in him every day. So, making this drink was a great thing.

Of course, after the seven days are up, I still have to make this juice for us. For me, I love it because it keeps me feeling healthy and energized. If I miss a week of this green drink I usually end up feeling sick. Like having a cold. Or, just having really low energy.

I love this stuff. It’s a little bit of a hassle bringing this juicer out, cutting the fruits and vegetables and cleaning the machine after use. But, I make big enough batches that I really don’t have to use it as often. We experiment a lot and add variations each time. Of course, we only use organic fruits and vegetables.

Life has been really good with juicing. I am so glad I haven’t gotten sick of it yet.
