I never expected to eat at a recent Anthony Bourdain recommendation. Or, any one for that matter. I don’t travel like he does. But, hey, I was going to Chicago. I had seen the Parts Unknown: Chicago episode. Why not.
My Chinese fluent friend Jeff really wanted to go. He had spent a few years in Chengdu and was hoping for the kind of food we were served. Of course, I understood nothing … all the conversation was in Chinese. Thanks, Jeff!
